Magic SEO?

I know I can Google this, and have tried. Millions of links come up - predictably of course. But was just wondering. Is there somewhere "safe" and "reputable" where one could input one's Website data and magic SEO happens? Instead of going to all of the search engines individually and setting things up from scratch there is one place where one only needs to do this once?

Just onpage SEO is important. And some relative high quality backlinks.

I did register with Google Webmaster tools however. Had to prove my Website is MY Website by loading their html verification page. Darn Google! :p
Webmaster tools is more for getting information and resolving issues about the site in the eyes of Google. You probably don't want just anyone to view and make changes so the verification is necessary.

True. Never thought I'd go as far as that in a relationship with Google. We're now connected with the equivalent of an umbilical cord.

Even if you don't rank very high you can still get many visitors if the search term is popular enough. Also, we need to remember that search engines are not the only way that visitors can arrive at your site.
