[Maintenance] Kernel update, Mysql optimization

We will be rolling out a kernel update, mysql optimization and some minor fixes beginning Monday evening, Jan 19, 2015 (GMT). Total impact time will be 4-5 minutes for reboots to finalize the new kernel builds.
