As you already know Google has new Logo!

What do you think about it?

I generally don't really like Google design generally ...(but who asks me,ha) ...but this simplified logo looks a bit modern ...and I think it'll suit better in cross-platforms that Google has.

Ehh, somehow the new logo seems a little harder to read. Maybe it's the tight kerning. The "G" especially looks too close to the first "o". My favorite one is probably the 2010 one. It stands out from the background, but not too much.

Agreed. I don't like the look either and at first I found it distracting when that hand comes out of the search box to rewrite the logo. It's too Sans Serif for me. Think I prefer the last one, particularly that distinctive lower case g it always had. The new lower case g is a bit common with no style to it.

Welcome to the era of windows. They also included an new favicon now. You get that lovely new G on your tab now.

Well Google is so famous and popular that they could use only capital "G" letter as an icon and logo...

I don't know why you guys are hating this. I love the minimalism and trend approach to make everything flat and simple. Maybe the font isn't great, but overall this logo looks cool.

I was looking at it again after I turned my computer on a few minutes ago. It's much too bold, too harsh. Glad the hand that comes out of the search box is gone now.

I think there's much better out there. It has not style. And definitely not a wow factor.

It could be because I'm not a big fan of the flat design trend in general, but that logo just looks odd to me. I agree with Genesis that it looks much too bold. I should check it on my phone. It might look better there, although I really doubt there are many people on the internet who don't know what Google is, these days.

I prefer the new logo. I did not care for the fancy fonts and edge effects of the previous logos. Just a simple font is fine in my opinion.

Believe it or not, I am almost certain this is the logo that first came out. I remember it a plain and simple. Not that is matters, I just want the search input box and rarely pay attention to the logos.

The e's always been at a slight angle. But probably more noticeable now because of being overly bolded.

I am most familiar with the 1999 - 2010 design but in reality it seems like they change is almost daily and certainly on holidays. How would you like that job! Just sit around and come up with new Google logo's - in your pajamas!:yahoo:

That's my favourite one too. The colors are much better as a result, as they should be.

Who has noticed a new Google logo on android smartphone? I have just seen this change today and I didn't expected Google to put small things like that.

The logo from 13-15 is flat too! But different font changes the whole visual effect.
