New Theme for My New Site

I just completed my theme for website which will be wordpress based, I'm looking for some feedback and opinions on the design.

I think it is super. I love that logo. Only feedback I could make, is that maybe there is too much space dedicated to news and updates, relative to the objective of your Website? I'd make the packages the main feature, with the projects at the bottom of the page,listed horizontally. News and updates on a separate page with a small feeder and link to the page on your home page?

I would change that black/dark colors because its gross and old. You should use pastel and light colors Otherwise than that its cool although text on the news is not-readable.

I messed around with the colors a lot before I chose what I currently have, I agree with you, but for myself this is something I really like as far as the color scheme goes.

Thanks Genesis, I know you said to put the projects on the bottom, but I thought I throw the packages in boxes on the bottom kind of like a hosting homepage usually has there packages. I think it turned out good.

Yeah, now it looks way better, I have seen it on my iPhone while I was at the college, but now I am commenting. I realy like those changes but it still looks so dark to me

I think some people like dark and others light. I know for example some people have problems with their eyes, they cannot work well with Websites that are too light. They prefer dark for good reason. I personally prefer light myself. But I also have an appreciation for some of the dark themes and this one works well for me. Particularly with the name oblivion.

So I've used that updated design as my home page in wordpress and its coded and complete, I'm about to move on to general page design and am looking for some input from you guys/gals. Should I keep the side bar like in the original I posted or open the whole content box for the page? I'd like to keep the sidebar to take up space, but with everything now displayed on the homepage what could I use to fill the sidebar, just looking for suggestions. Thank You!
