So I've just read about the problems with Gigarank too... Is there any way I can get a recent copy of my sql databases? I've since deleted the ones that are now there and have a few I need access to. I backed up my entire website's files on the 23rd/24th December, but have had internet issues so was unable to get a backup of the sql files. Between the issues with Gigarank and my damn internet server (which has been completely down for the last 3 days in addition to the issues for the last 2 weeks) I am not having much luck with my website.

I can't begin to say how sorry I am. I genuinely am. I'll let un4saken respond for the fee inquiries, but I'm completely shattered.

Bad things can happen to good people, and they also happened to DJB and un4saken. And most of all you and me and every one else on the shared server who put in hours of work in our Websites.

It's honestly a one in a million event Caroline. That both drives were fried at the same time. It was not due to sloppiness.

Don't know what more to say, but I feel somehow responsible as I brought you here. And I'm genuinely sorry this happened to you. I know the hard work you've put in your Website and you've got every right to be furious.

I know this must sound meaningless, but there is no one right now that feels more shattered than un4saken does. Particularly since he is the technical admin, and this is not supposed to happen.

This is no compensation I know, but I'm dead certain this will never happen again. Like we're now 500% in your debt.

The archers of greenwood one didn't have any data (other than emails) yet, so I am not so concerned about that... other than the fact that it is not accessible and I don't know what will happen to emails that are sent to those emails - as we have reasonable email traffic. The worse bit is I had to talk the committee into going with gigarank for hosting as they wanted to go with and Australian based server.. I told them I was a long time customer and was super happy and the price difference made them decide it was a good idea. I don't think any of them have noticed the issue yet (with the holiday season) so the quicker I can get it back up, the better it'll be.

Anyway... I know I'm not the only one affected. It's just been a horrible month for me and technology.
