Jwar, hopefully un4saken or DJB can check through your support request soon as this is probably a server issue. I can't recall any person using Oxwall before. When I Googled Oxwall, I noticed that it recommends certain hosts as well as has a list of specifications for servers, so Oxwall must know there are issues. I'm sure Gigarank would be able to sort these out, provided you can have a bit of patience to wait for our technical admin. As a matter of curiosity, why have you chosen Oxwall? What has it got that myBB or the other more generally well known software doesn't have?

Did you try this?

1. Go to http://www.oxwall.org/store, navigate to the plugin's page and download the archive containing plugin files.
2. Go to your Admin Panel > Plugins > Add New section.
3. Click the Choose File/Browse button, select downloaded plugin archive and click Upload.

If that did not work, try this:

2. Unpack the archive and upload extracted files to ow_plugins folder on your server.
3. Go to your Admin Panel > Plugins > Available Plugins section. The plugin you uploaded should appear in the list.
4. Click 'Install' to install the plugin you need.

I chose Oxwall because it is completely open source. You don't need any coding experience to use it to create a social network and everything is customizable.:drinks:

Well I think I got the ftp to work but I have a new problem. Now I keep getting messages like this when I try to upload new plugins "
Fatal error: Class 'ZipArchive' not found in /home/jwar64/public_html/oxwall/ow_system_plugins/admin/controllers/plugins.php on line 166"

OK hopefully DJB (Chris) can check this out. I'll also do some research if there is something we can do on the server side. Do you also get this error message?

Fatal error: Class 'ZipArchive' not found in /home/jwar64/public_html/oxwall/ow_system_plugins/admin/controllers/plugins.php on line 166"

Haven't seen you in the Forum for a while, but if you do check in one day, can you try and install the ZIP extension in your cPanel? It's available under the PEAR Module - check the list of extensions and it's near the top. See whether it will work for you.

I picked up on a discussion at the link below:

hey that must have done something I'm now getting this..
You will need to add /home/aya/php to the include path. You can do this by adding the following code to your script:
ini_set("include_path", '/home/aya/php:' . ini_get("include_path") );

Looks promising. Let's see whether DJB (Chris) or our Tech Admin (un4saken) can do this for you.

if I paid would this be faster than it is now?
www.artmasters.tk

the speed issues really strange because the content loads almost instantly, it's as if the communication between the pages is struggling

I don't know. This is something that Chris (DJB) could best answer as this is his specialist field. My own hunch would be too many features trying to load at the same time.

Any way, if you keep posting at this rate you'll soon be at 100 points and double disk space and bandwidth. Then you can find out for yourself.
