Detailed Description: how do i use something like the pyramid web framework on cpanel?

As far as I could read the instructions you don't need SSH to install Python, although for people with Linux that may be preferred. Anyway, let's get @"un4saken" to answer this one. Enabling SSH on a shared server is a technical admin or owner decision.

actually i'm just thinking screw it at this point, it'll be tons easier to do what i want on a VPS instead

I was thinking the same thing. We're presently changing the requirements for getting a free VPS, although you'll probably be a little more impatient to get one. But if you could wait, you may be able to qualify for one provided you are willing to make some extra posts on a monthly basis.

sure, i'd like that.

30 posts a month seems a bit high though, 15 might be a more suitable number.

The proposal was for 10, but still waiting for approval first.
