Raspberry Pi For Drone

I have seen a great deal of new development with using the raspberry pi for droning. I mean my God!

In 2015 I tried to build one, but got lost in the coding. Now it's 2018 and I want to start again, but wow are there so many routes.

Any ideas fellow programmers?

I looked into this for building a drone actually with the raspberry pi. It is a awesome project that i wanna finish but it is just sooooo expensive! Anyway, I suggest using an Arduino board. The Arduino board has a lot more peripherals to work with, which is better for a drone. Arduino is another version of the Raspberry pi.

Anyway, good luck and try it out!

I have messed with the Arduino before for led configs for a little software I wrote. I don't know if it's just me(which is highly likely). But every Ard I used had something wrong with it.

Naturally, I debugged everything and found out there were minor shorts to headers not actually being connected. Though this was two years ago.

I'll give it another go. Cas my next option for weight considerations, was to use a zero w.

Thanks again. I appreciate the info.
