I have noticed that some posts have text like "Sent from my XXX using Tapatalk" at end. I understand that it's probably automatically added by the Tapatalk software but to me it looks like spam, and not relevant information at all. What are your view on this? Have you considered stripping off this kind of information?

I actually like the information as such as then I know for example that DJB is not at his desktop computer at home. Desktop at home is the equivalent of being at Gigarank Headquarters (being able to do things) so that is useful information for me. What would be nice though is if the information could be made in smaller font as it looks almost like part of the post - like hitting one in the eye.

I don't see a problem with it. It just gives you a bit of information and possibly some demographics to what your users are using to browse the forums.

I didn't know we could turn off our signature on tapatalk!!!! :fool: I don't mind seeing that on forums, but mine doesn't make sense. it says the model of my phone instead of the brand, it's weird...

never heard of tapatalk. is this some sorta browser? or a application for mobile device like facebook or twitter?

Tapatalk is an app to access forums using mobile phones. But first, the forum owner/admin has to register their forum with tapatalk and then only it will be listed in taptalk. Its available for android, iphones & windows.

Post 2:

Tapatalk is a Free Forum Reader, Subscription service that many websites support including Betanews, Plex and Tivo Forums use. I used to use it on my Nokia Lumia 521 before I gave it away to my son. Honestly, I have not tried the android version as of yet is it maintained frequently for updates or only when the product needs updating due to a security enhancement?
