Slax : Ultra Light Linux : Good for small VPS

I like the author - he doesn't back out when someone tells that Slax is terrible

I don't think Slax was supposed to be run from a VPS. I would still use Centos in comand line mode for this if the VPS is of small configuration. But I thik that Slax is for those who needs a live linux which can be run from a CD/DVD or USB drive (do note that you could install slax on a hard disk).

I have never thought about using Slax for VPS the idea seems nice I would love to see this in practice.
I dont know how it runs a server but I know that it can run on pretty much every Computer Netbook whatever.. if you have an old Laptop you can use it with Slax.

Ohh, not sure Slax will go as VPS distro, as it's not intended for this role.
Of course you could use it like that (as any other linux distro), but the most I like about slax - is it's minimal size and great features.
As for the VPS, I would recommend using headless distros like Ubuntu Server, Debian, CentOS and other options - this are more secure and suitable for this task.
