Hi,

Recently after the server upgrade, email reception restricted to authenticated SMTP client. so many people tried to send email to me receive following message
PHP:
<mail@domain.com>: host hero.gigadnsserver.com[94.23.250.90] said: 550-Please
????turn on SMTP Authentication in your mail client. ?mail.ut.ac.ir
????550-(utservm.ut.ac.ir) [80.66.177.10]:58368 is not permitted to relay
????through 550 this server without authentication. (in reply to RCPT TO
????command)

I already disabled DKIM in my cPanel but it seems to have no effect.

Thanks
Bijan

@"bijanbina" - please note the link in your OP is dead.

I've referred your request to our Tech Admin. Logically I don't think the problem could be with the way things are set up, as they are identical from before - nothing has been changed and were transferred as is, but un4 may have a better idea. Maybe it could be regional.

@Genesis Thanks for your alert. I fixed the link.

unfortunately the @un4saken solution cannot applied on server side. That solution explain how a friend, my boss, professor and etc should do to be able to email to me. And as you know many of them don't know about these technically stuff, so they simply gave up to send the mail.

I need a solution that doesn't need client to change any setting so I could receive email as the same as before.

@"bijanbina" can you please wait before you make any changes. I just discovered when I tried to use the e-mail system that it may have something to do with our new IP. I've brought it to the attention of un4. Please don't touch your MX records until un4 has had a chance to look into the problem.

What happened was with the server change we got a new IP. And these days the big e-mail hosts are very suspicious of IP changes. Hopefully un4 can do his usual magic to solve the problem.

Oh @Genesis, I didn't change my MX record but I did changed routing from remote to local and it fixed the problem for me.

To regenerate the problem you can change email routing to "remote" and set "hero.gigadnsserver.com" as your MX Record.

Hope that it will helpful to you
