Some older Sci-Fi stuff

Haven't really played around with graphics much lately but here's a few things I made a couple of years ago.

The first two were made entirely using Paint.net, they are quite simple mirrored graphics, the first one is supposed to be a very very small section of an Invading Mothership, it's a small area of one of the hundreds of attack fighter bays. The focus of the first image is one of the fighters rotated in the launch bay ready to be jettisoned, below and either side of it you can see the other fighters waiting to be rotated for launch.

The second image is a less cluttered view of the rotated fighter

These following images were created using Photoshop.

The third image is of a simple intercom pad, I was trying to design a lock device to be used for the fourth image but got a bit distracted and made an intercom instead!

The fourth image is a stasis chamber or possibly a storage chamber, I never really decided what to be honest, I knocked up a dying star to throw in the chamber as it was looking desperately empty.

The fifth and final example is my attempt at making a Drone eye, I really enjoyed making this one and it took a surprisingly long time and was re-modelled I don't know how many times until I was happy with it.

Thanks for looking. :)

Really enjoyed checking these out. I especially like your skill with gradient effects and modelling, in particular the yellow lens on the third one.

Thank you all for the very kind comments, it would be nice had I more time for graphics but more of my time is used carving pipes these days, I do still use Photoshop but not so often, I more just make smaller graphics for forums and the odd design here and there for friends.

All of your pictures represent competent work--they're all good. However, the one I put in my quote is in a league of its own! There's almost a bit of cognitive dissonance involved in saying that this one goes with the others, because as good as the others are, this one is so much better.

That "star" doesn't say "star" to me, it says "Gallifrey." #whovian

In other words, that storage changer is Time Lord technology.

Thank you for the compliment, I shouldn't let the choice of images here generate any discomfort, they were little more than random choices from some of my older work, some of my older work is of a more complex nature and some of it is rather more infantile but each marks a distinct stage of my own progression so I like them all equally.
