Spotify will soon let you mute and block artists

Spotify is preparing to roll out a mute and block artist system. What do you think about this?

It's a feature you already wanted or you think there are more important things to be implemented on the app before this roll out.

That is a good idea tbh, I could be listening to a very nice playlist only to have that one artist i don't like and for it to ruin my chill vibe as i skip them.

I think it sounds like a good idea. I know a couple of playlists where I would want to remove some artists. Do you know if it will be a premium only feature?

From what is been reported the feature is still beta. So it is rolling out to a few groups to test before implement to everyone else. I assume it will be for everyone since it will allow you to create and share the playlist and be able to remove artists from those and create an all-new and customizable playlist for you to experience.

I like the idea of this, but it should be only for premium users.

Why should you get the privilege of that under a free subscription?
