Steam Box - Anyone looking forward to it?

If your up to speed with gaming or have steam account, chances are you have already heard of the new gaming console from Valve. It will come in various shapes and specifications.

The Steam Machine is Valve-developed hardware that is set to be released some time in 2014.[1] Multiple different iterations of the device will be released by different hardware manufacturers, and they will all be running the recently announced SteamOS. Along with the different manufacturers, Valve will also be releasing their own version of the Steam Box. This version will be considered the benchmark for the devices, and the others will highlight other features such as physical design, quietness, price and even power.

I agree, some of them are very exspensive. Cheaper to build one yourself and download Steam OS

That is my thing about it...it really doesn't matter what physical box you have, it is always going to be a pc so I as well will just be downloading the Steam OS and trying it out on my system.

My PC is SteamBox.. infact it's everything box. l've tried to use Xbox One and PS4. PC has won me over with the massive sales, the ridiculous graphics and mods. Goodbye consoles!

Games will be same as they are on PC so doubt it will gain much.
