subdomain not working

hello

i am trying to add new subdomain in cpanel but new subdomain do not works. new subdomain gets create but when i enter url then it dont works.

creating subdomain works as like a folder.

suppose i create "webmania" subdomain

if i enter url webmania.mysite.com then it do not works. but it works like mysite.com/webmania

subdomain is working like a folder.

please fix it

Just tried adding a subdomain on gigarank and it worked. There doesn't seem to have a problem.

Could you please provide us the full url that didn't work

i added whois subdomain with my domain chillncheers.com

subdomain dont works.

only works as a folder if i use chillncheers.com/whois


also i added wap subdomain few days ago and it did not worked

Apparently http://whois.chillncheers.com/ and other subdomains are working for me. It looks like a browser issue. Please clear your browser cache and try again.

Could be the way your cookie preferences are set up in Opera (or not set up). Opera has a unique way of cookie configuration that the other browsers don't have - maybe for security reasons:
"tools -> preferences -> advanced -> content -> manage site preferences -> the site -> edit -> cookies tab"

With Opera you also have to wait 24 hours for the DNS to propagate. If you waited maybe the cookies would have sorted themselves out by themselves eventually.

creating only folder will not make your sub domain to work.
You should also add the sub domain using "ADD SUB DOMAIN" button in your cpanel.
