I'm doing a course in WordPress, and just learned about this really great tool for testing a Website for responsive design. Maybe our members have some ideas of testing for responsiveness as well, but the tool below is really great and includes testing for almost every possible screen device:

I've just learned about another great tool for testing a responsive Website. It's premium, but if it is a very serious Website this may be very useful. Where live people get to test your Website and then provide feedback of what the experience is like:

Well there is a few very good plugin that you can use, but the best ones, unfortunately, are not free:

WPTouch is the best Mobile plugin for WP, but it costs money to use it.

Very good Free plugin that I can recommend is:

WP Mobile Edition.

These Plugins are recommended if you want to have different look for your Website's Mobile version, and if you want users to have an option to switch from one version to another ...

Thanks for the recommendation, It makes me think if I should go back to wordpress again.

i use firefox respinsive design view ctrl+shift+m

Chrome Developer console has responsive design view also. (ctrl+shift+i and then ctrl+shift+m)
I usually use that in development and Android/IOs emulators for final review.

Recently I found and really like FireBreak, a Firefox add-on that shows the size of your browser window in pixels, and lets you use keyboard shortcuts to increase or decrease the pixel size by 1px or 10px at a time.

like @Pau : console developer of google chrome is amazing.

Has many tools to learn and improve page controls. Furthermore in chrome there's a lot of extension that enforce your develop experience (especially for javascript purpose).
