The 48 hours rule.

Hi,

I was here wondering, what does the 48 hours rule to have our site set up mean? Does it need to be open for everyone or it just needs to have something on there to avoid account termination? I got my account info on friday, but it will take me a few more days to launch my site. Is that allowed?

Thanks.

It does mean we want you to have a Website up and running by then. But no worries. Take your time with setting it up by all means. Some people need extra time and we appreciate you letting us know.

Well I also wanted to ask this.

Thanks tangledmemories for creating this thread & Genesis for the reply. :D

Good thing to know-- I have all of my site ready in the background, but not ready to go live yet, so I have placed a landing page there until I can test and tweak all my scripts, then I will be opening the site up with all the bells and whistles.

Between work and other commitments, that might take me a few days, but it won't take long.......

Thanks for the vote of confidence, Genesis! I'll be sure to let you know when it is up and running so you can check it out!

Genesis, my site is now up and operational! I haven't finished all the tweaks, applied my special CSS layouts, added all the data, but the meat and bones is there. I wanted it up and running!

If you want to check it out with the various sections, you'll need a username/pass for that. I've set up a visitor account for anyone here that wants a sneak peak at what will be happening there. You will only be able to look at most of it (no editing yet) but it will give you a good idea of what I did....
