Heya Folks,

I have a full license for vBulletin vB4 which was purchased back when I made skins for vBulletin forums, I was wondering if it is okay to run vB4 on the server.

I'd like to make use of the in-built CMS and blog systems, I know the CMS can be a bit of a rascal with servers, not sure how you guys feels about that.

I'm using MyBB but there are several aspects I should like to add to my site which are not possible with MyBB, I don't like 'add-ons', they tend to not be coded to function entirely correctly with the core software.

So in essence, is it cool to run vB4 for my community?

That is fantastic news, have no worries, my license is a lifetime vB4 license, absolutely no problems there, once I change the license to reflect my site and the installation I can send you a screenie of my license on vBulletin if it will help put your mind at ease, I don't mind doing that at all.

Briar. You should have your license information usually in a Notepad file All you need to do is to upload a copy to your root folder.

I have a text file to add to the server files when i have the site ready to install, I am still building the site on localhost just now, I want to be able to replace the MyBB site without too much interference to the guys on the site.

I am still building the site on localhost Buddy, when it is running through vB4 the url will be http://www.www.bspforums.gi9.co/forum.php

You would be more than welcome to pop along any time you liked, I'll let you guys know when the replacement site is in place, I'd very much like to see you there. :)

Finally got the site migrated to the vBulletin software, long boring process with manually moving posts but thankfully there were only a little over 300 posts so it wasn't all that bad.

License doc added to the server Genesis, PM sent with details on that.

You guys are simply fabulous, thank you so much for your amazing community and superb free hosting.
