Go for the shorter stronger drinks like espresso's, machiatos and my personal favourite a flat white they tend to be smaller pack a punch can get you through the day and have much less calories.
Also they help keep your bowels a little cleaner since it is a kind of natural laxative.
Energy drink wise, I am not sure but if you are looking for a complete alternative you could try pre-workout powders and mix them with water I believe is the usual. All the body builders and fitness enthusiasts seem to use that well not all of them but you get the gist.
Oh one more thing I must say about SUSE, is that it seems to have wonderful power management capabilities, when the system goes into blank screen mode, the laptop with the wireless connection active busy doing updates and downloads is only using 18w of power.
