So do I. Have been doing it over my recent holidays to the amusement of my cousins. Think it is the feel of the mouse that does it for me. Works better for me than my index finger.

same here, for me to get a decent work flow going using the laptop pad I have to use both hands
we need virtual reality gloves!

I use all of them. However if I'm into serious Web design I do prefer desktop. Just much more convenient and easier to work with graphics as well.

For me, Desktop is more comfortable for my back and sitting posture and I would definitely prefer it over Laptop at home. Apart from that, Mobile whenever I am taking relaxing or just checking mails and messages online.

I prefer to use my PC, it is more confortable than laptop and well... when I'm out of home I use my smartphone and it is like a tablet :p

I guess I'm old school since I prefer desktop. Main reason for that is I can't type fast when I use Laptop keyboard. So for most of my work I use Desktop and use Laptop only when I'm not at home or want to be in bed. ))

A computer of some form. I use tablets and phones but I've grown up with a computer. It's just easier to use in general.

Phone or tablet. With a desktop or laptop you need to turn it on, wait, sit on a chair, etc. Android devices seem to turn on much faster, and I usually leave them on all day. You can also use them laying down, which is nice. I still love desktops for Photoshop work and web development though.

My preferred method of accessing the Internet is my desktop computer. If I have the space for a laptop while on the go, I prefer to use a laptop. If the laptop would be too bulky for the day, then I would use my 2 in 1 Windows 10 tablet with keyboard. If that is too much load, then I would use my Android tablet. If that is too much then I use my 6" android phone. If that is too much then I would use one of my Android devices with a smaller footprint. And, finally, if that is too much, I would resort to using WAP on my non-smartphone which is what I use for my day to day cellular phone calls, simply because sometimes carrying a smartphone takes up too much pocket space. LOL :tease:

I like to use a phone or tablet when while lying down also. That is why I installed the Inkscape app on my Android tablet in order to have a small Linux system on my tablet. However, now I have a Nextbook 2 in 1 11 inch tablet running Windows 10, originally 8.1 updated to 10.

For news and socials I think smartphone or tablet are the same.

I prefer laptop if my search could expand: for example in programming context searching "mysql" can provide "swarm effect" since reading a post I can discover the existence of "pdo". After reading "pdo" i can discover "hydrate" concept and so on... In laptop browser I can open multiple tabs and have a good overview.

I think everyone would like to see from a larger screen, but is that not everyone has a computer at hand at all times, then we must use other platforms, such as phone, ipad, laptop, etc.

For me it will always be computer or laptop. Websites seem to still be made better for computers compared to phones which are still quite hard to use on phones especially older websites. the screen is also bigger which means there is more breathing space on the webpage.
