What Windows 10 glitches or bugs have you found?

I just noticed that the included app Movies & TV causes the entire computer to BLUE SCREEN and reboot when playing certain AVI videos. Specifically, I use Debut for screen recording and the resulting AVI files cause the issue. I can view the videos fine with VLC, however. I have changed my default program for AVIs to VLC, but it still bothers me that something so simple and common causes the entire system to glitch.

The more and more I hear things about 10, the more I see whats happening. This sounds like what we used to call a honey pot. (a program used to trap hackers when they try to access your computer) You have what looks like a O/S, but it doesn't do what the O/S is supposed to due. My understanding when I got the notice that I could get windows 10 for free. It told me I didn't have to worry about anything, that all my current hardware would work still. Yet, I hear people having issues with Vid drivers. It was bad enough that I had issues getting a driver for windows 7.

This is starting to sound like one of those tv shows. They give away prizes to everyone, yet there is no prize at all. Its just a scam to control the people. I wish I could remember the name of some of those movies.

When the screen went BLUE it briefly gave error information (but not enough time to decipher what it was trying to say) on the screen and stated that it was sending information about the error. I didn't have a choice in the matter. It just decided to send the information to someone somewhere. What info did it send? Did it send the file I was viewing? I am getting paranoid now about Windows 10. :unknown:

Even though Windows 10 is not perfect, I have come to like it. I have now upgraded all of my computers and compatible devices to Windows 10. But the more devices I have on Windows 10, the more opportunities to find things that don't just seem to work right.

My most recent upgrade was my Lenovo laptop. The only thing that I have had trouble with on the laptop is the touchpad. Under Windows 7, I was able to have the Touchpad automatically deactivate when a USB mouse is connected. However, under Windows 10, it does not seem to function well. The driver has some issues under Windows 10, and possibly can be updated, even though I have not taken the time to do so yet.

So, be aware that the driver for your touchpad may not offer all of the same functionality under Windows 10. It may require updating the driver if an update is available. I will keep you updated on anything else that seems to not work properly.
