LA Noir is one of my favorite games, the atmosphere of post-war Los Angeles is very faithfully conveyed. I played it on the computer and remember well how long it took to learn how to operate the car ...
Ego-Shooter:
Half Life
Story and gameplay was so new for its time, and it is until now one of the games making this genre!
Also i love strategy games:
Age of Empires 2
It is so fun and challenging to play.
Point-and-Click:
I like the "Deponia" games. They are so funny and the story is good too
