Godaddy is the worlds no.1 domain registrar company. I am using it from past 6 years (304) domains, and never got any problem. But one time I lost my 10$ while paying them. Bigrock.com is not cheap but is best.

I'm the same as you Wifi, where I tend to be loyal to one provider, and stick with them as long as the going is good. But depending on how frequently one needs to buy domains, it may be a good idea to have an account with more than one domain registrar. Namecheap.com seems to be a good registrar. I don't think it is as good in overall as Godaddy, but it does come up with some great offers periodically.

I'll probably go for a big name like Godaddy or NameCheap. Whichever of the two are the cheapest. Still have to do my research for a name though. May start with .tk just initially until we're up and running.

I use namecheap, too. Haven't had any problems for 7 years.

NameCheap is my choice too, haven't had any prolblem with them until now.

the only cheap paid domain registrar is 1&1. And the best free domain is .tk . I am using .tk for 3 yrs . there is a great things on .tk is you can have as many as domain you want. now I have over 10 domains. If you wish you can get paid domain which offer you the whois control. leasantry:
