I recently registered a really cheap domain (.com) at namecheap.com just for 1.2 USD :D. I read some great reviews online. Lets see

I used to like RegisterFly but have no clue what happened to them and they were shut down a few yrs back. So now I use GoDaddy or some others when they have offers.
I am still not sure which is my fav domain company. But as they say, don't put all your eggs in one basket.

Looks as though most domain registrars these days are flogging as many services as they can - so eggs in one basket reminded me of that. Like Godaddy's also in the business of website hosting and lately I've seen a link between them and wix, an online templates and Website building service. Changing into large corporations, and who knows growing into future Google size businesses?

Hello,
As many know GoDaddy is the best option as domain names. I've noticed that there is a way to get domain. Tk free and which works very well. I think it's a matter of taste.

I like GoDaddy myself. I'm a little lazy, and I'm used to how it works, so unless there is an enormous big difference in the cost of domains, I'll probably stick with GoDaddy for now.

Crazydomains, they are very good for domains and general hosting. I am using them to host the News Portal and the School Website :)

Always used GoDaddy for the service, although they could do more to improve their account area and domain manager.

I'm curious. What features would you want them to add to their domain manager?

The problem isn't feature-wise Genesis, the main problems with GoDaddy's website are accessibility related. To access the domain manager you have to go through some two or three clicks and its also not straight forward to use.

Agreed. I've got a GoDaddy account myself. And I remember when I got a domain I had to search for where to change the name servers. It takes many more clicks than dot.tk, who is total simplicity and speed in comparison with GoDaddy. I literally flew through applying for my dot.tk accounts. Whereas with GoDaddy I had to read so many instructions to figure out how to get to the NameServers for example.

NameCheap to me is even clumsier than GoDaddy. But in overall cheaper with many more specials.

Exactly my point its too complicated to do a simple task, even the rest of the site is complicated, the auctions and stuff. Extremely user unfriendly.

But then again I like GoDaddy, maybe its because of the name whoever created it is a marketing guru!

I can agree with you, for example when you log into crazydomains you have 3 different accounts given and you need to choose which one you want to use before you type ur login and password, i always forget to change the accounts :/ You have web hosting, domain hosting and email hosting, you need to choose right account login.
