I wanna know why they make you post 10 post before hosting ? they could just go ahead and remove the domain if the user is not supporting gigarank ?

Well, we could have make instant account, but what is the point?
With Post To Host ability we have power to choose who will use our service and in a nutshell we can clearly see who will take care of their hosting account i.e. make it active, use it for hosting websites not cloud storage etc.
Post 2 host is a reliable way of getting to know your customer, why? because you can communicate with them.
If someone does not put effort in posting qualitative amount of 10 posts, then the person would not put effort into their hosting account which means that the ftp and mysql would be clumsy and full of not needed stuff, the website would be unprotected and easy to hack. There is lots of reasons why we are Post 2 host web hosting service.

As GigaGreg mentioned, Post to Host web hosts offer more quality control over who gets hosted. I've used instant activation-type free hosts before. They're a haven for spammers, so my sites & emails there were often banned by ISPs. Instant activation hosts also attract people who abuse server resources, and all the other sites on the server tend to load slowly because of this. Therefore instant activation hosts tend to be lower quality, even if they mean well.
As for removing accounts, there are periodic clean ups of inactive hosting accounts, which is why it would be a good idea to check the News & Announcements forum once in a while. Of course, contributing to the knowledge of the community through posts after you receive hosting reflects well on you & is always appreciated.
