Windows 10 by Force or Choice?

I am curious to know when you loaded your copy of Windows 10 was it by choice or force? I had Win7 Home, with all my autoupdates disabled yet with some unknown ability it downloaded the installer for win10. How did you block it? More importantly now that it was installed are the apps and games working ok with legacy products for you?

I have updated my PC to Windows 10 Alpha in 2014 when they rolled-out Insider-Preview. Yesterday I have deleted the Windows 7 completely from my computer because it was taking a lot of space on my C:/ . I have updated to Win 10 as a concern of DX12 and many more features that are not supported in older versions of the OS.

I downloaded windows 10 as soon as it came out because I wasn't a big fan of windows 8 wso changing back to the original windows 7 format would be nice and it has been for me. I also needed windows 10 anyway because of forza horizon 3 which requires the user to have the latest version on their computer.

How about you hnet, how did you respond when Win10 loaded automatically for your computer?

I downloaded Windows 10 and it was laggy af so I converted back to Windows 7

Perhaps you are not good with computers and that is why the 10 was slow and laggy. Else you have an old pc with not much of RAM.

Windows 10 is a good OS, but I would have loved to stick with the old OS like Windows XP X64 - but sadly MS is a money machine and they forces us to upgrade one way or another.
