wordpress upgrade?

The Wordpress upgrade can be automatic whether you have free or premium hosting. You do it through the installer in cPanel (Softaculous). Thing is you need to check when you use the installer to click on "Advanced" in the install windows - otherwise you will miss the option to make WordPress upgrades automatic. When you click on "Advanced" it will come up with options to have both Plugins (if you so choose) and the WordPress script automatically updated. I prefer to update my plugins manually. But I always tick to have WordPress script automatically updated. There is also an option in the "Advanced" to have a plugin loaded for limiting the number of login attempts, which I always tick as it is a good security plugin to have.

WordPress 4.6 must be updated manually, unless you are on the managed Hosting. So you'll have to do it manually for this major Release ...
