depends do we get to choose the era?
actually I'd rather live in the past, so I'm younger, if I lived in the future me & everyone I love would be older so I'd have less time!

When I was much younger I really wanted to be born in some previous centuries, especially second half of 19th century ...
But now when I'm older, having my own family and my kid ... since I'm afaraid I wouldn't have him (my kid) if I wasn't born in the actual year of my birth ... i wouldn't like to live neither in the past or future.

P.S. By the way you haven't provided your own answer?

The past, but only if could go back to the modern day afterwards. Isn't "Would you rather" the type of game where you ask a question after answering? If it is, "Would you rather see ghosts or read minds?"

I would like to live in future! Although, it would be cool to see what life was like in the past, without technology!

Well, my choice is neither... Why?... because that choice (the WHEN and the WHERE) isn't ours... and that's (yet another)/a blessing...

The past as it was reported/documented to us was TRAGIC, the present (as we live it) is INSANE.... and the (TECHNO-) future that's lurking in the air usher an era of a global and complete comodification of Human beings .... That I don't be part of!

PS: Sorry for the pessimistic tone!

None, basically, if you live in the past again. World that you know will change and you cannot trace it back. Living in the future means leaving your friends and family from the present.

It all depends on how your life is at the time, you may want to stay in the present :0

I personally, would choose to live in the future to see how technology and life has evolved.
