On the dashboard, left side of the screen where it lists pages, themes, plugins, etc. somehow I must have hit something so that now it shows symbols where the words used to be. I'd rather have the words back instead of the symbols, so how can I get it back the way it was?

Now try upload WordPress again but NOT wp-content folder

I repeat do NOT upload wp-content , everything else is ok but not this folder

Notice : If you have any plugin like security plugins that modify .htaccess file , Do not upload .htaccess file

Hope this fix it...

You have the menu minimized. Click on the arrow button to get it back to how it was: http://www.big-webmaster.com/restore-wordpress-admin-menu/ Hope this helps!

Awesome Yozora. I'm dead certain that is still to happen to me one of these days and at least I won't have to swear when it does. I now know to look for a tiny arrow somewhere around where the Admin Menu used to be. That arrow IS tiny! :p

Thanks for the help. When I left here a few minutes ago I pushed the back button about three times to get back to the dashboard and it was back to normal. Very frustrating.
