Xamarin

Does anyone use or have ever used Xamarin to develop mobile apps?
I'm starting to study Xamarin I think it would be nice to exchange information, from courses and tutorials

I took a look around xamarin as it is a c#framework and it is pretty powerful, might get seriously into that

I'm one of those which started to develop apps by using xamarin.
I had some prior knowledge of C# that's why i got into this. I kind of dislike the XAML syntax (which is basically a modified version of xml) and would pretty much prefer something like css to style the UI.
